Poem by Ivor WiiD

Valley church Hout-Bay is the process of moving to new premises where the church will own the land and build their church. Building cost for the new building will be around R12 million.

Valley church lease on the current property they are leasing at expired at the end of October and there aren’t any guarantees from the landlord for an extension after December 2012

At 04h45 on the morning off 19 the April 2012 the Lord laid the following poem on Ivor Wiid heart.

Ivor Wiid is a 67 year old man retired   who lives in Hout-Bay, Cape Town, South Africa with his wife  , they have 1 daughter who lives in Johannesburg Ivor is involved with various pray ministries in the church he writes poetry as he listens to God on a daily basis

A to B

If you draw a straight line

From point A to point B

That is the shortest distance

That is easy and plain to see!

Therefore do not go wondering

All over the place

When you have build your building

Go from point A to point B

Do not let anyone, distract you from

The objective of the move

Go from point A to point B

You have to be exact

Therefore be firm in your decisions

It is costly to go from point A to point B,

And then to point C

Tell the landlord you are not moving

Until your new building is build

And for all to see!

Where you currently minister

Is safe and reasonably secure

You tell the landlord

The cost of moving often you cannot endure!

 Tell the landlord you are

Staying where you are,

Until you see your new building

That is when you are moving

 Tell the landlord

To reduce the rent

You want to stay longer

You cannot all over the place wonder.

 The shortest distance

From point A to point B

Is a straight line

That is plain to see!

 Therefore tell the landlord

Reduce the rent

We want to stay longer

We cannot in the straight line

Make a dent.
