Emmaus walk and Christ affirmation for me

This past weekend (Thursday to Sunday) I attended the Emmaus walk at Rocklands Center in Simons Town and what a blessing it was for me being with like-minded Christian men in Cape Town. When I was asked about going I used the excuse that I do not have the money to pay for the weekend but God put people in my path who contributed money for me to go. From the moment we arrived at Rocklands Center we were treated like royalty almost and true meaning of servant hood was shown to us. The entire weekend we felt the Holy Spirit moving as we had group discussion sessions and various talks by Christian leaders. The feeling off brotherhood was with us and there was a great spirit in the camp among the men who attended.

In May 2009 I left UCT after 18 years of service as I felt God was calling me into a different direction, in January 2010 I went to Tanzania for 3 months to work in a theological college it was here that I heard God speaking to me and the message I got was that God had called me to be HIS servant in this world and that He has got a specific plan for me. On the second last day of the Emmaus walk all the men on the walk received letters of support from their friends, I received about 17 letters and all the letters confirmed God's calling on my life and that God has called me to a specific purpose.

The road ahead is going to be hard for me as I wait on God to reveal HIS plan for me. As I wait on God I would appreciate your prays for me, if God speak to you or as HE lays something on your heart about me (whether it be Material or Financial, please be aware I am not asking for anything all I am asking my friends is to listen to God, HE might have a word for you to give to me ) please feel free to contact me on 0826358899
